SPANKER’S SURPRISE 11″ long, 6.5″ wide,   Thuddy on the foamed side, very stingy on the wood side.  You can go to your local department store and buy a regular ping pong paddle that is almost guaranteed to break in the first few sessions.  This is designed to last for years.  It’s 3/8″ thick Baltic Birch, with our special thuddy foam on one side.

The only complaint we’ve ever had was a couple bought this and went home that night to try it in their apartment.  They brought it back saying they really liked it but it was too loud and the neighbors complained of the noise. <Grins>  They kept it and now only use it at parties.
